A Grizzly Bear

I walked out on the deck and there, in the backyard, next to the pool, the grizzly bear stared at me. My wife yelled from the kitchen, in her irrepressibly logical way, that she and the kids wanted to adopt the bear. I could tell she thought it was a great idea. I had to think carefully how to suggest that a dog might be a better idea, but before I could ask if we couldn't adopt a dog instead, the grizzly bear stood up. It leapt up, and dove, head first into the pool, with a big splash. The bear surfaced with a stack of gold coins balanced on its nose. My wife said, "Are you kidding? Look at these great tricks he can do." And I knew I had lost the argument.
